What do you think about The Manga Bible by Zondervan? There are so many choices out there. I worry they don’t have a real manga feel. Do you believe that mangas have to be black and white? Do they have to be done by Japanese artists? What is your opinion?

I haven’t actually seen this yet, though we have a copy on order. I grew up with Marvel and D.C. comics, so I’m probably biased toward color. I guess I don’t have an issue with Anime being produced by artists and writers outside Japan. Purists of any art form will probably point to the cultural forces that gave birth to that form of expression, and deny that outsiders can replicate or contribute to the art.
